Rachel Claflin
Director of Leadership Development

Rachel Claflin started her career at Altig in August 2002 as an Executive Assistant in Redmond, Washington. Rachel immediately began making an impact on marketing and communications. Her passion, work ethic, and ownership of projects enabled Rachel to succeed and accept more challenges and more responsibility in other areas of the company.
Rachel created the Altig in-house weekly television show. She elevated company meetings to new levels. She built the Media and Design Department. Within three months of accepting the challenge of completely overhauling the hiring program, Rachel’s leadership led to a 100% increase in hiring for the company. For these accomplishments and many others, Rachel earned a promotion in July 2006 to the title of Director of Agency Support and a seat on the Board of Directors. Currently she serves as the Director of Leadership Development.
The people of Altig, the challenges, and the opportunity for growth are what drive Rachel, “I love that our business is independent from market forces. It’s not like real estate or retail, we have a huge opportunity that gives us freedom with no ceilings or barriers.”
Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Washington. She lives in Kirkland, Washington with her husband Donovan and baby boy Justice. Rachel is an avid beekeeper with over 60,000 under her care. And she is a co-founder of Hope in Haiti, a non-profit organization to help support education projects in Haiti. |
